Our Set Up

We are currently working on installing a gravity flow watering system. It will make doing chores easier! Not to mention the plus for the rabbits...Such as..Water available 24 -7. cleaner for the rabbits. No bowls, no bottles...

When we get it completed there will be pictures.

We are suffering growing pains right now.  Our Rabbit population has grown very fast and we are trying to keep up....So things are hopping around here!!!!!   These buildings are not finished yet.  We have the south end of the Double L to complete,  And the Bunny Barn is only half the size now that it will be when we are finished with it.   WORK IN PROGRESS! 

This building was a Double L pig nursery. Now it will house 64 breeding stock doe rabbits and their bunnies. The rabbits are on slats instead of wire. After the bunnies are weaned they will be placed in the Bunny Barn to be finished to go to Iowa Rabbit LLC.

The inside picture is the north end of the building that is finished and is housing 32 does rabbits and several bunnies.	This picture has 9 New Zealand Bunnies and momma.  You can see the slats that is the floor of her cage.  They are so much better off this way. The bunnies get around better when they first come our of the nest.
This is the middle room that we keep all of the rabbit supplies in.  The control panels for heat and exhaust fans are there to. You are looking at the north side of the east corner of the room.  You see a red Purina cattle mineral tub.  We fill that with water, to use to fill water bottles in.  We are going to trench water to the building next year and put in a gravity water system.  But we have to crawl before we can walk.	This is a picture of the control panel that is on the north side of the west corner of the middle room.  You see the controls for the heat and exhaust fans.  There is another control panel for the south room to.
.Here is an inside picture of the Bunny Barn.  You can see some of our pet rabbit stock. WE ARE NOT QUITE DONE.  We bought used lumber and used hog shed glass board it helped alot to keep cost down.  I have some painting to do on the ceiling.
